New Museum Additions

Tue, 09/01/2009 - 14:06 — Kaos

This past weekend we acquired some awesome new additions for our interactive video game museum, including some truly exceptional retro and Japanese systems. Some of it is pictured above. While I can't guarantee that every system we picked up will make it to the convention, I can say without a doubt that our museum will contain the most incredible collection of video games and systems you've ever seen.

Infinite Bits at Florida Supercon!

Wed, 06/10/2009 - 14:50 — Kaos

Infinite Bits was at Florida SuperCon this past weekend hosting gaming new and old. It wasn't unexpected to see the popularity of games like Rock Band and Smash Bros; controllers were never put down all weekend. The real surprise was on Saturday was when a line of people formed to try out the Vectrex, the world's only Vector-based home console, and a precursor to the modern 3D games of today. Our Smash tournament was a blast, drawing in 40 people, and our Nintendo World Championship competition had an amazing 76 entries. Other popular games included Punch-Out!! for the Wii, Marvel vs Capcom 2 on the Dreamcast, Rhythm Heaven on the Nintendo DS, and Street Fighter 4 on the PS3.

Stay tuned for more Supercon coverage!

A Winner Is You

Thu, 05/21/2009 - 13:31 — Kaos

Or more specifically, a winner is Charlie "Chaz" Long, who successfully bested all his opponents in last Friday's Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament at GameNARP. We caught him during his harsh training regiment (in the rain, noless) to present him with his copy of Punch-Out!! for the Nintendo Wii on it's day of release. Congratulations, Chaz! Now get back to that training...
